My first camera was an old Brownie I had when I was 9 or 10. Next came a Polaroid 'Swinger' followed by a fancier collapsable Polaroid model - then a long hiatus w/o my own camera. I was nearly 30 when I purchased a Pentax 35mm pocket camera which saw a decent amount of use.
Then came "Digital" - bought a Canon G2 in '03 and the Rebel XT SLR (May '05) then added and upgraded to the Canon EOS 40D (Sept. '07). I love digital because it has allowed me to grow and learn more quickly. I love to capture the beauty of nature and landscapes. Equally enjoyable and satisfying is capturing the whole story of an event - be it an intimate family gathering, milestone birthdays or anniversaries, a Friday night football game at the high school, or the Saturday morning Dog Show or road race. They all have stories - often many intertwined - waiting to be revealed in pictures.
